  1. Tee interest compounded and the depreciation of the rupee has to be factored in the calculation. An economist will re evaluate the same to many times more than the amount mentioned

  2. One more thing from n economic point of view this money is not 'lost' (unless it is taken out of the country). It only means that this much money has been moved out from general public to the hands of the corrupt. Ultimately the money remains with in ans as long as it is not hoarded it still generate productivity. Here the issue is the injustice of wealth transfer from larger public to the corrupt few. It is important to understand the same

  3. Hon.Sir,
Indeed its my pride & privilege 2 get a comment from u like eminent personality.First of thank u 4 d same Sir.
Sir,am not able 2 evaluate d contemporary economic situation of India..coz am an expatriate.Yet...my loyalty towards our nation sometimes itches very badly that time will express my vision..obviously with a numbness outlook towards d rules & regulations of ur entire system. Moreover being an expatriate relying only medias.Indeed what u mentioned here is cent-um(100%)right.If they hoard d scam money there will create stagnant position.wealth transfer from ordinary public 2 d corrupt in illegal way is a National disaster. The idea that information can be stored in a changing world without an overwhelming depreciation of its value is false. It is scarcely less false than the more plausible claim that after a war we may take our existing weapons, fill their barrels with information. If it will directly flow in a proper way 2 d public, I think ,there will be a room for economic stimulus in terms of accelerated depreciation to encourage businesses to invest and to grow and ultimately to hire more people again. Here govt should act accordingly....

    With reverence,Sheeba Ramachandran.

  4. It may be just a tip of an iceberg. Somebody can start writing a 'Corruption dictionary' (of course it has to be updated every year) which will be a 'valuable' reference to the coming generations. May I know where you find this 'Information' board?. Quite interesting!
